Our editorial work is intended to make complex property questions more understandable. We favor useful context, material tradeoffs and clear limits over promotion, prediction or volume.
Independence and interests
Rick and Roxanna Urban are practicing real estate professionals affiliated with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. Our experience informs the work and our professional interest in real estate is not hidden. When a material relationship or commercial interest is relevant to a published piece, we will identify it.
Accuracy, corrections and limits
We distinguish observation from verified fact, identify estimates and avoid presenting incomplete information as certainty. Material errors will be corrected promptly and, when useful to readers, the correction will be noted.
Legal-adjacent, tax, engineering, insurance and financial subjects require appropriate professional review. Our work does not replace property-specific advice.
Fair housing and respectful coverage
Neighborhood and property coverage will focus on place, built environment, access, history and observable conditions. We will not steer, rank communities by protected characteristics or use language that expresses a preference or limitation prohibited by fair housing law.
